JOE MOLUMBY

Joe is a Management Accountant with over 25 years’ experience as a lecturer/trainer in Accounting, I.T. Business and Finance. He has an innate ability to explain concepts and financial fundamentals and practices to individuals and groups, especially SME businesses and entrepreneurs, in a meaningful way.

Joe can train on various Accounting and Finance courses, Start Your Own Business included (Finance Fundamentals, Cashflow, Building your Profit & Loss Account, Budgets, Investment Evaluation, Sources of Finance, Taxation, and Financial Tips for Entrepreneurs, among others). Joe can blend business and practical expertise with subject matter knowledge in an engaging and impactful way.

Industry Expertise

Joe has trained users from different business functions on accounting software applications in a diverse range of SME organisations, and before entering the third level sector, held many diverse positions in various organisations, ranging from telecommunications to a change management role in the public sector and an Implementation Consultant for various software houses. This experience has benefited his training style, enabling him to relate to different SME and entrepreneurial contexts.  

As an Entrepreneur

While lecturing for TU Dublin in the Business faculty in the School of Business Technology, Retail and Supply Chain is his main occupation. Joe has considerable experience of SME accounting packages. As an entrepreneur, he established his own company to assist clients with training on accounting software, covering primary business functions: sales, purchases, operations, customer relationship management, general ledger, and final accounts in many sectors, including the Retail Sector.
