Kick Start Midlands Programme

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME:

Kick Start Midlands is a 13-week full-time FULLY FUNDED start your own business programme designed to equip and support you through the process of starting a business in Ireland. The programme isn’t learning about business, it’s learning to DO business! Some participants will already have a business idea and others will not. The programme helps to develop and refine ideas until they are viable. It also teaches practical skills to those who may not want to start a business but wish to enhance their business knowledge to progress their career. The programme is mainly online but there are 3 in-person sessions and celebrations to attend.

WHAT DO YOU NEED? Leaving Certificate or equivalent workplace experience (Under 25s must have skills-based qualification to enable them to set up a business unless they have a relevant business idea). You need to be resident in Ireland (Stamp 4 visa holders eligible) and be available to attend all sessions, online and in-person. It’s a certified programme, QQI 5 Business Planning, so does require time and effort.

Requirements: Candidates must have a laptop with a camera, good broadband, and a quiet workspace. Full-time availability is required to enable you to take part in both the training and to allow you time to complete the practical assignments that will results in a validated roadmap for the future!

It’s a fully funded programme so costs you nothing, only your time.

WHAT DO I GET? All the support, advice and practical training you need to get you started in business, delivered by a team of experienced entrepreneurs. On completion successful learners will gain a QQI Level 5 in Business Planning.
