Fay

Clare Fay, FCCA, trained as a certified accountant. Clare has been lecturing in UCD since 2004 on the Undergraduate programmes in the Business school and also on the MBA programme. Clare also teaches on the overseas programme in Sri Lanka.

As an Entrepreneur

Clare has held Country Accountant position with Concern Worldwide in Cambodia and also Financial Manager with Concern Worldwide in Malawi. A key element of Clare’s role while overseas was to train and develop local staff in finance-related functions taking into consideration the multicultural environment.

Clare has had a varied experience in staff management, training and development working in the capacity of Team Leader and Manager with Whirlpool, CONCERN Worldwide and University College Dublin with responsibility for teams of up to 18 staff.

Industry Expertise

Clare is an ACCA accountant and has held senior financial positions with corporate businesses and multi-national organizations. She has 19 years post qualification experience and can adjust easily to different working environments.

Clare Fay has an interactive and inclusive training style which ensures she can adjust easily to different levels of financial knowledge and understanding.  

Since joining the Entrepreneurs Academy as an Associate in 2002, Clare has delivered financial management training to SME Senior Managers, small business owner/managers and non-financial staff.
