Kerri began her career as a commercial accountant and financial accountant and worked her way through to CFO and Company Director level. She is approachable and relaxed in her interactions with participants making the difficult topic of finance easy to understand.
Kerri joined her family business in 2009 as a 6th generation family member. She spun a startup out of her family business with her brother in 2015 and successfully exited that business with a MBO in 2021. She set up a consultancy company in January 2022 and is currently offering CFO as a service to SME’s, mentoring and training entrepreneur’s in the financial aspects of their startups.
Kerri started her career as a commercial accountant and financial accountant and worked her way up to CFO and Director level. She has broad experience across Big4, multinational B2B & B2C, family business and startups. Her core experience is in the formulation and execution of business growth plans, managing business risk, financial modeling and business analysis, improving profitability & cashflow management, establishing budgeting processes that ensure accountability, debt and equity raising processes, ongoing debt management, stakeholder and investor relationship management and overseeing the financial health of a business.
Kerri joined The Entrepreneurs Academy team in 2022. She has delivered training in the areas of business planning, financial planning, funding options,how to get your business off the ground from a financial perspective and considering the tax implications for your business.
Kerri is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. Kerri completed a mini MBA with the Irish Management Institute and a post graduate diploma in Accounting and Finance with DIT. Kerri is also a member of the KPMG Alumni network.
